Steel City Endurance Racing

Women's & Men's Cycling Team

Women’s Ride with Team HVT this Sunday!

SO, there will be a ride, leaving @ 1030am from the Wm. Pitt Union on
5th ave in Oakland. I am going to run this ride in conjunction with
the Univ. or Pitt Cycling Club/Team ride.
The pace will be easy, and I am planning on the route going out
Allegheny River Blvd. to the Holton bridge, then down towards
Tarentum, PA and back. The ride will be open to everyone, It will be a
no-drop (no one left behind). I expect the ride to last 2 hrs in
length.  we will get back into the Oakland/Shadyside area early enough
for individuals to change, eat, etc.
Terrain will be mostly flat, with a few moderate climbs at the end to
get back into Shadyside. I am looking to also have a shorter/beginners
ride AFTER the meeting, Heading out from the Coffee Tree Shadyside
around 3pm, and heading out for a loop up and around to Highland Park
Reservior and back (Beechwood Blvd. is also an option).
Rain MAY cancel the ride, dependent on air temp. I will post that by
830am on sunday on the PGH Womens Racing Page, as well as the ACA
page.
If you have any questions/ comments/ concerns, please feel free to
contact me at this email address, or 412-606-4025.
hope to see everyone on Sunday!
