So I guess that just about wraps up cycling season… NOT!

While August brought us plenty of excitement, from road races and stage races to final nights at the ACA Oval, members of Team SCE are far from off their bikes. September brings a few more road races (time trials and road races). Barb is racing this weekend, in fact. Pro Bikes has now announced a race next weekend, but many of the team are now taking it off-road. There is a whole new cyclocross world out there, and with it chances to ride, get dirty, race, get dirty, learn some mad skilz, get dirty, ‘n ‘at.
Rachel Weaver returns to her second season of cyclocross, and now she’s bringing friends to Chris Mayhew’s PCCoD ‘cross practice at Frick Park! With Coach Suzanne’s help, they’re bringing Kate and Stacie into the world of mud and – what? – running over barriers with your bike on your shoulder. (Crazy and cool!)

If you read Ben Stephens‘s posts on his Facebook page or blog, he’s been waiting for ‘Cross season since probably midsummer (at least), and Aaron will be testing his cyclocross legs.
Meanwhile, EJ Hubstenberger is still pounding out multi-century weekends. He just won’t stop riding! And Anne Marie and Lauren are doing triathlons!
Anyway, stay tuned to the website and calendar. The Fall will certainly be a lot of fun, as Steel City stays in shape both on and off the roads. Never a dull moment on Team SCE!
